Dan Eldon Traveling Exhibit
I've been involved with the oversight of the Dan Eldon traveling exhibit for nearly a decade. In the late 1990s, I wrote a grant to Humanities Iowa for expansion of the exhibit, which then traveled to six Iowa communities. The exhibit has since been to community colleges, universities, high schools and community centers in Seattle, Santa Fe, Providence, Los Angeles and other parts of the United States. Containing twenty-five of Dan Eldon's Reuters photographs of the civil war in Somalia, as well as fifty enlargements of his collage pages, the exhibit is highly inspirational.
